the change of bmw model is worth considering. the new c class make over IMHO is poor, much prefer the pre facelift! Will only be looking to spend 20-30K so cant go brand new unless I lower my expectations. went to BMW on Sunday and they weren't exactly helpful! Audis 3.0 tdi is a brilliant engine but they all look the same and have no character at all! hmmmm will just have to keep looking! the new volvo V60 looks nice!

If you want a Mercedes, get an E350CDi .. not that much more than a C350CDi, and much greater load capacity.

thats true enough, id go for the E too but..... some people may want a smaller estate?
