I need to know some information about my new car mercedes W107.
this is chassis number: 107 023 10 009817

I think you have missed a couple of characters?

VIN start with 3 letters e.g. WDB and have a letter after the 10th character

That VIN pulls up a SLC350 but no datacard available. With a valid VIN I can email you the datacard (email address required also!)

this is an old model I think between 1971-73, I don't think VIN exists,
there is another plate fixed in the front chassis exactly like this:

I think you may be correct in that at this age datacards don't exist.

The first number you gave seems to be valid as VIN. Those in your last post are not accepted, in any combination.

What sort of info are you after? Have you checked out Wikipedia for general model info?

if u have logbook back u can request info from mercedes specially date of manufacture they may have some history on the car i have one similar with 2xxx chassis one of the first made and one of handful still running since most of these where used as donors to keep w107 sl alive!
