New C350 CDI Order!!

Im test driving a C350 CDI tomorrow,with the intention of ordering a new one.At the moment Im thinking of a C350 CDI Sport Plus in white with pan roof and seast heating.Im not planning on paying the extra for the COMAND as I dont think its worth the 2k asking price.
As Im new to MB is there anything else option wise I should consider?.

One last thing,can somebody confirm for me which white is the one that looks cream!! I told The salesman I wanted a proper white and he told me that would be Alpine white which is a solid white and the metallic white is the one which looks cream,Im not convinced thats right.Anybody help?

Comand isn't just fancy sat nav it does so much more. I bought my w204 without comand but only because was going to get Alfie at Comand UK to retrofit it for me. Talk to comand UK before you order so that you understand the options open to you.

I would reconsider the COMAND decision

The cream coloured white is discontinued, replaced by Calcite white

Never bothered with command .Two camps on here re whether it is worth having or not. Very personal to you and add up whether you will get value out of it. Certainly at trade in you will see little return.

Maybe but your car will be much more saleable with it than without it.

In the latest brochure it hasnt got Calcite white,just polar white and them metallic diamond white.
The salesman did tell me the polar white is the pure white sorry not alpine white.
Might see what sort of deal he would do with the comand.

I wouldn't buy an MB without it. It adds another dimension to the driving experience.

Now before I had a comand equipped car, I wouldn't have been bothered either......as for the price of it, you never pay full whack for it anyway.

One thing sweetmeister......MB have an awful lot of cars in stock right now........if they have one you fancy, you will be able to get such a huge discount the price of comand will not be an issue

Isn't polar white the one that's a brilliant white?
Sport plus is a good choice as you get the lighting and mirror pack as well as the polished wheels, lower suspension, brakes etc but you don't get to choose your interior.
We chose to have command as well as the HK system, 2k is steep but that's the same price difference between the 250 and 350 cdi engines I think?

Yes,the salesman said the brilliant white is the Polar white,but I wasnt convinced.I would be very unhappy to order the wrong white on the salesmans advice,will need to double check this.
What colour did you go for,any pics?

The brilliant white is Polar White. I've had Comand and Becker and there is no way on earth I would pay the extra £1500 for Comand over Becker.

Personally I agree with the OP. It's not worth the 2K extra IMO.

Some used buyers here might value it - but personally I'd not pay extra for it on a used car and most drivers I've met who buy used probably wouldn't care much or even know really what it was.

I did consider the E350 but she who must be obeyed isnt keen on the E class and I`d struggle to get it in the garage!!!

Does anybody know if you can spec full leather on the saloon sport plus? Think you can on the coupe but it doesnt appear so on the saloon!!

Remember seeing this -Two sports plus cars here - polar white is the the sports plus closer to you in the pic - calciwhite is the one furthest away

It's the calcite white that has been discontinued. I've got a 61 plate coupe with it.

I would reconsider the comand option too on something like the 350.

Come sale time I think people almost expect it on the big engine models.
