Hi All,

Thought I would introduce myself, I bought myself a Silver 2009 C63 Amg with the P30 pack.

I will try and post some photos up later

Are there any Isle of Man members on here?

I don't envy you when the motorcyclists descend, but maybe other times in the year. - My favourite is when they're running hill climbs at gooseneck, so the mountain road is empty.

Welcome to MBClub and congratulations on your new car. You have fine taste :)

yeah it can be a bit manic. The Hill Climb is actually on today, I was supposed to be doing it buy I have a broken hand :-(

Thanks, it's my first Merc car I've came from the darkside having 6 Bmw's

Were you running three years ago (2015)? - I think that's the last time I was over in the Nissan, but it's been off the road since then.

If I remember rightly it was wet and a couple of people hit the wall at the top of Gooseneck.

It's not that I dislike the bikes, but by all accounts they're like a swarm of locusts and some of them are mad as cut snakes! - There'll be a few people practising at the moment, and they're great fun to run across the mountain with, but I've got no chance of catching them because the Nissan is limited to 180kmh.

No I haven't done it I didn't have my car finished last year unfortunately and this year my hands broke. I decided to buy the 63 as a treat to soften the blow

It is a massive pain at tt, most of them are like kamakazi pilots. If you want to make the most of the roads you have to go out in the evenings for a rip, as some of the bikes waste you on the straights then hold you up something rotten in the corners.

Hi and welcome. Great choice, enjoy the new car.
