New CLC mercedes

Noticed the new Clc at my local dealer with the W203 interior..Only difference is the new Comand unit..Buttons are a bit difference and screen is like the new merc designs..but smaller..Prefer the W203 Comand unit design and colour scheme..only plus is the memory stick inpt slot( i think) by the DVD slot..round buttons are not as nice as the W203's square buttons..

If you have a look at the chassis no youll see it also starts WDB203...........

New comand has intergrated bluetooth and harddrive space for mp3's thats what the mem card slot is for.

Did they start from the outside and then gave up and stuck with the same W203 interior..Poor sod who buys his first merc coupe and then someone points out..emm..that looks the same as my late 2004 merc..except for the comand..even the seats are not that great..
got out of the car feeling good about my W203 now..although salesman was trying to get me to buy a nice spec C63 sitting at the entrance..i know this salesman..think sales are suffering as no many are coming through the doors lately..wonder if they can knock off the VAT from the demo car, then who knows..45k for a C63 sounds tempting..

Whereas the W204 is a completely new model compared to the W203 saloon, the CLC is simply an update of the existing CL203, with the same chassis & many parts, but W204 style body panels & approx 2000 changes from the previous.
Whilst I love the wide rear brake light, I think it is a shame to lose the quirky slot window below it....
