Money won't be an option...

I'm afraid it will need to be. It'll need insured, purchased, taxed, serviced all of which costs money. No options on that one

I'd get an insurance quote. If you choose to afford it, rock on. You'll be able to easily afford the other associated costs if you can justify the premium price to yourself.

Its not slow, its RWD so do take care in it, but they are a lovely car.

Get yourself a Fiesta, because you will probably bump it.

If he can afford to rock around in something nice, why drive something nasty.

He'll just stump the cash up for a new bumper if it gets a bump. Its ok, money ain't a problem.

nice and positive thanks

Consider a C63.
in about a year i may move up to an amg version or an sl, like i said money isnt an issue

More safe in a crash, more space, way stronger engine and if he flips it probably gonna come out ok compared to a convertible. All in all not a bad suggestion. It will go well too and really scare his passangers senseless which at 26 is all you want to do really :D

You should be able to pick up a new one for not too badly a monthly payment if you make some enquiries.

The SLK is a nice car to drive and the 200K has reasonable performance, but isn't what I'd call fast. It is, however, rear wheel drive and quick enough to get an inexperienced driver into very real trouble. With a mature attitude the risks should be reasonably contained though.

One thing to be aware of (my wife has an R171 SLK350 which I drive, so I have direct experience) is that it's impossible to see the extremities of the car from the driver's seat. As an inexperienced driver this is a real disadvantage that's likely to lead to a number of bumps, albeit probably at low speed. Damage to your own vehicle is obviously your own problem, but hitting other people's cars isn't good form, is at best financially costly, and is best avoided.

Personally, I wouldn't recommend it until you've developed the spacial awareness that comes with a bit of experience.

What about an SLK350. The V6 sounds superb. Well, you might as well do it properly.

The front thing he'll get the hang of. At least with blind spots he'll not have one with the roof down...

A lot come with parktronic which have the bleepy things and proximity lights.

You might as well get one with a nice sounding engine. Money wise its not a huge step up.

As you're new to driving, its easy to forget checking your blind spot, having the roof off you'll be very aware of what is going on around you.

As for bumping it, well, see how you get on. Do try find one with parktronic.

Is this dhard with another alias?

no mate im from south London England. By the way dont you think the 350 will be too fast for me
