Hi,

Recently found this site.

Are there any good sites for aftermarket goods for my 52 plate sports coupe. I have already lowered it with the Brabus suspension kit, put the 18inch split 5 spoke rims off of the E55 on it (major arch work required on those 265/35 R18 beauties!!!! (replacing tyres almost kills me) and fitted bluevision bulbs for 'brighter, stylish white light!

would love to do some more but dont like most of what i have seen (msdesign etc ) and brabus is a £killer$

any places i should check - i have looked at ebay.

nice to meet you all,

Rich

Have you tried German Ebay? Oh and welcome to the forum :D

I hope therefore you have fitted the mbclub standard stainless steel pedals (see modtanica thread)..

gerica.co.uk
mercedesperformance.co.uk
mercedes enthusiast magazine? (difficult to find)

Welcome - and why is yours a sportS edition? Isnt it just Sport? ;)

Whats 'www.gerica.co.uk' Guy ?

I cant find it ?

prob a smelling pisstake howard - its advertised in merc enthusiast mag - i found it once and wasnt impressed - but thats cos they didnt do anything for the w140 :p

its somthign like that... gerica.com isnt right either..

Lol !! was just curious to see if they had any w124 stuff ...

are you going to Bruntingthorpe Guy ?

cheers

looked at some of the stuff....have my eyes on the breabus pedals i have been coveting for a while now...they are beauties but £100.

will check out the site.

Its name is a sports coupe - though is not sporty with std suspension. The brabus kit takes care of that.

If you've not got the oem slk/evo pedals then they're a nice mod and only £25ish from the stealership :)

£25?

No i didnt get the evo pack.

I'll explain my car!It was very basic to start, no spec. I got it for 18000 with 11000m on the clock. Its obsdian black c200k (163bhp model). As i am very good friends with the dealership owner he retro-fitted leather for 500 quid and fitted brabus suspension for 300.

Then a guy i know was changing his wheels on his E55 so i got the alloys + tyres for £750. He owed me a favour hence the very low price for some massive wheels in perfect condition. Now looks the dogs!

all in all i feel i got a pretty good deal as it was about a year ago...well before the facelift.

I shall get a picture on shortly.

are you sure the pedals are only £25?! seems ridiculously cheap for a benz part!!!!!

They are replacement pedal rubbers and cost a few pennies each more than the standard rubber ones! Anyone paying £50 or something for aftermarket screw-on type pedals must be crazy, bearing in mind that a lot have "for offroad use only" as a disclaimer!

Search the forum for pedals and see what you get back :)

check these out , cheaper too

They are screw on and as Shude said, the dealer ones fit properly. IMHO do not fit the above ones.

Yep - go for OEM :)
