New Mercedes owner - W140 S320

Hi Guys,

Just though i'd introduce myself, just got my first Mercedes. Its a 1995 W140 S320 on LPG. I currently commute 100 miles per day so wanted something to waft in, the S class fits the bill nicely. Not much planned for it, maybe new wheels (17" Monoblocks), decat and front wings need painted. Only 93k on her now, pretty much everything still works.

I have to say I'm really impressed with it, the only thing that doesn't work is the self closing doors, but absolutely everything else does, not bad for a 19 year car.

I have the same engine in my 95 124 coupe and am tempted to fit
LPG.

Now you've covered 1000+ miles, just wondered how cost effective the mpg is.

Good looking motor and rare colour on the 140.
