Well its finally done.

Removed the old and used injector nozzles and installed brand new Monark's.
Very easy job.But you most definitely need a super clean environment when reassembling all of the parts involved.
Unfortunately I don't have a video of the engine start up,but believe me It sounds great, some nailing at start up but after a small road test everything came back to normal and also a noticeable increase in power!

Cheers

Are these the old nozzles or the new ones. The pitting in the body indicates they have been subjected to combustion leakage or rust, which has been cleaned up during the refurbishing process.

Any reason you didn't you just have the old ones ground and new pintles fitted?

Mostly a question of cost and experimenting....
I've done allot of research and found this Monark brand from Germany with allot of positive feedback.
With the price they were asking you cant go wrong, and so far I'm very impressed.

These are the old nozzle holders.I cleaned them in my own Ultrasonic cleaner, they came out very nice.

These injector tips are made by Monark in Germany and they are designed with a finer mist pattern than that produced by the Bosch tips. My experience has shown that these tips work better (fuel burn) especially on higher mileage diesels with less than perfect compression numbers. On my own diesels I have also noticed less injector nailing (pinging noise) with these tips installed.
