New owner, Kent

Hi all, thought I'd finally say hello after trawling the forums this afternoon. I'm based in Bromley.

I have a 2006 CLK 220 CDI, 72k miles, black with Sand leather, manual (!). Have owned for about a year, with the only problem so far being a squeak from the rear, which needed new shocks.

I'm in the process of booking it's second service of my ownership, and debating retaining the full MB history or going to an Indy

Anyway, that's my intro...

Surprised you haven't yet had replies saying "never mind the stealers, go to an indie, it's not only lots cheaper, it's often better!" Depending on where in Kent you are, there are well respected indies around - Sidcup and Wingham to mention just 2, plus many say a trip down the A3 to Horndean or Southampton is worthwhile! First off, you need to look at the MB ESS to see EXACTLY what is involved in your next service - i.e. the A/B schedule PLUS the non-included extra time/mileage related bits like filters, plugs etc. Beware!
