Hi guys I am currently restoring my old w210 ...I am after some advice and parts please ....lots of parts required anything you have and want to sell ? also full grey leather interior must be like new !! ...I want to fit a later gearbox as mine sometimes seems to slip into a neutral gear ? not sure why, which if any later box will fit..does anybody know of any top class painters in the Yorkshire area ? need someone to do full restoration of the body...thanks in advance

newbie mistake I'm afraid ....its a e class 240 1999 not sure of the gearbox type as its still in !! elegance trim ..... I am in west Yorkshire !!

To be honest its not what I would call an old car and unless it has some sort of sentimental value or is a rare model is it worth restoring.
a decent re spray on a car with good bodywork is going to be a couple of grand.
If you want a top class job start thinking £3000 and upwards.
Might be better just finding a better condition car in the first place.
