Hi Guys,
Just joined the forum this morning so hi!
I'm about to purchase an 04 SL55, really excited but I wanted to just ask a couple of questions to anyone who's got/seen one before (this is the only one I've ever been in!).
The first thing I noticed is that the silver trim on the dash has a very rough feel - I had a feel around and the it feels fairly uniform but I wasn't sure whether this was normal or if the surface had perished somehow.. Can anyone let me know if that's ok please?
I noticed the roof was a little creaky, I've read around that excessive creakiness is a sign that the roof isn't sitting properly (and may therefore leak) but is a little creaky ok? I'm assuming so but please let me know if I should be worried!
The car has keyless go but only comes with the normal Mercedes keys, not the card based ones yet the keyless go still works as expected! Is that normal? I read in the owners manual online that the card key is the one that does keyless go - was this perhaps an upgrade over an earlier model..?
Thanks in advance for any replies!
