I was really surprised to hear that. The chages are so out of step to the normal mid-life facelift that we have become used to. As this is a facelift, then what can we expect when they finally fetch out the new model?

Hi John, so far in life the SLs have all gone the 10 years since the onset, before a change and new model.

All of the talk on benzworld and MBworld is for 2010-11.

Only when we get the car number will we know

Thanks for posting John. An AMG diesel and the UK was deprived. What a fascinating read. 'Hollow cylinder head bolts so they can be water cooled to keep the compression level up' -what miracles of technology.
