new to site, can you help, about to get e320

my names Matt, im from Devon, i use to be a member on mercedes190 club sometime ago. im about to buy a 2001 e320 diesel avantgarde, could someone or anyone give my some info on things to look out for when buying one. any info would be appriciated, and i will start using the site loads more once of got one.

Rust is one to look for on any car! Tyre depths, conidition of the disks from a visual inspection, engine oil and the sound of the car.

2001 will make it a 'W210' E-class.

These are nice cars but have a terrible reputation for rust issues. Make sure you check the car out thoroughly for rust before purchase. Plenty of threads on the forum
