New Vito owner lots of questions

Hi there

I'm a new vito owner (x reg 110cdi) and I have a load of questions,

Can I retro fit a trip display?.

Can I reprogram a key myself, it only came with one and I'd like a second without it costing as much as the van did.

is it possible to retro fit air con

There will be some more I'm sure, any help with the above would be great

Hi & welcome. Not many W638 owners here so not sure how good a response you will get!

No idea re. the cluster ... sorry!

Keys normally have to be coded by a dealer.

Aircon retrofit is - generally - not worth the time/money/effort ... you're better off selling and buying one that already has it.

Welcome, I can't add anything much but would second Bill/BTB500 that unless you can do it yourself and value your time at way less than the minimum wage it's probably not worth fitting aircon (I'm guessing the job will take many hours but...)
For a key you could try somewhere that does Mercedes commercial, might be less than cars?? My last key, (a single button not for W638) was about £180 going from memory and I couldn't find a cheaper source, don't know if a two button is any easier to source.

Thank you, I thought air con was a non started, I don't mind spending the time on it. My other car is a 1968 Reliant Scimitar, if I worked out the time I'd put into that I'd probably cry.
