Hi Peeps

Ive just joined the forum as Ive just sold my E39 M5 which I had for many years and loved. Sadly due to a health issue I need to get an automatic.

Ive never considered a MB but Ive seen an E55K local and fell in love. So Im now on the hunt for one as a weekend car.

Mileage has never turned me off as my M5 had over 200k on her. If a car is well maintained and respected by their owner it should not be an issue.

Having said that Im a total novice when it comes to the E55K and I will be hitting the search button big time over the next month.

Anyway just wanted to say Hi.

Welcome to MBClub and good luck with your search for a new car!

Hi and welcome. E55k was/is my first MB too :D

Keep us posted - loads of knowledge on here.

Welcome and all the best in your hunt for a good E55.

This is my first Mercedes and I've been pleasantly surprised at spares costs, servicing costs, dealer helpfulness etc.

Cheers.

Thanks all, I hate buying cars as Im always worried about getting a lemon. Probably why I kept the M5 for so long.

TDE1 your in Worcester, I'm down the road in Droitwich.

Good luck in your search for a nice E55.
I saw a few before I got mine last year. Great cars!

Oh, welcome to the forum:doh:

Welcome Mrhanky. You could do a lot worse than anE55 just check service records.

We go swimming at Rivers once or twice a week - not a bad pool - and Mrs TDE1's nan lives by the tip (I forget the name of the road, but you have to go over some mini-roundabouts to get there.)

Nice to have a local on here. There's a forum member who lives in Malvern, too, if I recall correctly.

Let me know if there's anything I can do to help out in your search. Am no expert, but happy to share my limited knowledge of the monster. Have always found Draytons at Fernhill Heath very good, though pricey.

Thanks very much very kind. My Father takes his B class to Draytons, like you said seem good but pricey.

I'm pretty handy with the spanners my previous daily was an Audi Allroad on a 02 plate. You can imagine I was very familiar with changing gas struts and the compressor.

Good morning Mr H,

Welcome to the MBClub forums and good luck in the search for your dream car.

Regards, lim

Sweet ride.
Happy hunting
