Just got myself an 05 plate CLK 270 CDi with 72k miles on the clock. Whilst really pleased with her, when I jump into my wife's C Class 270 Estate (which I guess is same engine+autobox), the driving experience is very different, and that just clocked over 100k miles.
The CLK appears to be somewhat "lethargic" when compared to the C Class, almost like the ECU mapping is "de-tuned" a little. Turbo is there but cuts in less dramatically.
I've had the car fully checked for turbo hose leaks etc. with no faults found and no codes stored in ECU. I've been thinking about a re-map to hopefully improve driveability.
Anyone know if what I'm experiencing is "normal" as I always thought the two would be setup the same. Anyone recommend a remap of this engine, or would I be best to simply get used to it as it is?
Thanks
