Newbie dropping by to say hello!

Ben I know it may be a bit early in the day to ask about mods but have you thought about any apart from the 17' AMG Alloys. Alot of people including myself recomend the Avantgarde Grill. Its available fairly cheaply from ebay these days with excellent OEM qaulity:

Deffinatly worth a look theres a step by step guide also on this forum on how to fit it also
That auction is for Headlamp surrounds :D

Welcome to the madness Ben.

A very warm welcome Ben and love your minter ;)

Thanks again Gurpz,

I didn't realise there was a members gallery section ! Where is it so that I can pop a couple of my pics up too ? Would be great to see what others have done to their w202's.

Cheers High-Lo,

Just took a look at your car gallery . . . Very nice indeed !

Here you go Ben:

Just remember when posting in the gallery section use the direct links and make shure all pictures are 640x480 for perfect fit on this forum. Imageshack supports the feature to allow it to change the size before uploading

Hi there, I'm also a newby to this forum...

Proud owner of my first Merc, 53Reg C200K SE Coupe Auto, not a hand me down but bought from brother for hard cash...

I'll post some photos once waxed..

Grill looks very tasty Gurpz, has anyone actually bought from that seller and are there any others around worth considering ? As for the 17's, any views on whether it will look silly without lowering springs because wont it make the car higher up ?
Many who like to mod cars find changing the wheels almost essential. Others like me think that one of the best things about a Merc is the ride quality. No other car soaks up the ripples and bumps, potholes and ridges, quite like a Merc does. Bigger wheels need low profile tyres with harder walls and they do affect the ride. Your choice but I would stick with standard size wheels. Also you will find the low profile tyres are usually a good bit dearer.

Nice car and welcome.

Yes welcome. Great looking car, a very lucky boy. 17" AMG Monoblocks would look great. The only problem is once you start down the slippery road for mods there is no ending, just look at my signature.

hey there and welcome!
