Newbie Introducing Himself

Hi and welcome Matt

Nice project you got going there! :)

I think I've seen that car before somewhere.. does it have a Super Snipe for company?

Keep the pictures coming.

Ade

Yes welcome, i love the wheels.

Welcome to the forum Matt!
What a superb project you have their, so (as others have requested) please keep the pictures coming! :D
I like the use of a W126 interior. I dare say they aren't too many W123s with electrically adjustable front seats! Was it even a factory option back then?

I love the "story-telling" was you've written about your car - very simple, very effective and pretty original. I like!

Darren

Welcome to the forum mate and must I say, what a project you got going there. Looking top notch so far and do keep us posted. Also that must be the highest speced W123 I have ever seen with electric/heated seats !

Welcome, at last we have another 'real' modifying nut on the forum!

Done a cracking job so far, keep up the good work!

Well done, good to see people showing some love for the older MB's. Ive always had a soft spot for the w123.

Thanks man!

Is yours the W126 AMG? If so - dude. WOW. That's SUCH a nice car.

Thanks for all your kind responses and I'll keep you posted with progress. It's got to be ready this summer!

Welcome here, those pics took me back in time when I had the enthusiasm, room and strength, the happiest year of my life. As long as you tell yourself that anything is possible, it is, and your pictures prove that.

Thanks very much for putting the pics up:):)

Welcome.

That's one superb project. I'm sure I'm not the only one here who may have the enthusiasm but not the ability, or balls, to tackle a project like that.

I really look forward to the updates.

Hi and welcome - really enjoyed looking at the pics and the commentary that makes it more real.....keep it going ..looking forward to reading more

:bannana:

Welcome to the forum, wow that's a stunning car.

Like many on here I have a soft spot for the W123. In fact I love old Mercs (not owned an older 'proper' Merc yet though...)

Nice work, great conversion...

Yeah, that's me!

The Snipe's a little worse for wear. I'm STILL chasing rust. For the eight month!

Nice. Projects like this are what I like best about this forum.

Great project, I love it! As others have said, welcome to the forum, and keep the pictures coming!

What surprises me is that there are these experts out that know how to do all of these things.

Could it be that they do not like computers, or that they have not been brought up with them.

I found it hardish going back in 1992 but had to get used to it but I was only 57 then
