newbie question... servicing schedules??

I did try searching I promise, but looking for some info on servicing schedules..

Are all recent (90s onwards) Mercs on a variable schedule controlled by the car's computer or is it usually x'000 miles / x years etc?

and.. anyone know more specifically what the schedules are for a W210 E55 and/or the ML55!

I seem to be finding a few low mileage cars that havent been serviced for well over a year but that have done low miles over that time - just wondering if that would mean the service was overdue??

And another newbie question while i'm at it... can anyone give a quick run down on Mobilo and mercs anti-rust warranty??? (dont even know if it is one and the same thing!)

Thanks all... my search is getting closer! Have located suitable cars, both 2001 with <60k... just not sure which i prefer!

do the A and B services just alternate one to other each time?

Yep, but remember that other items like brake fluid change, fuel filter change etc. can be added to either service depending on the vehicle age and mileage.
