I think this car was discussed on the forum just the other day.

Hi Howard,
i only picked it up yesterday done 400 miles already, have had MB before 1995 E220 cab this is not as solid as the the older cars by a long way, but still good fun, and i hope reliable !

Welcome to the forum from me too. As said above, well done for being brave on the colour front. You'll love the 3.2, they're great engines...

Hello
Welcome to the Forum :thumb:

thank you all for the welcome. so far so good, car seems to be behaving itself. thinking about buying shares in shell to feed its drinking habit.

As for the colour..... its not the first time i have gone out and come back with something resembling an open topped bannana. see below!! will i ever learn?

Hi and welcome to the forum. Nice colour choice you will never have trouble finding your car.

Hi, and welcome to the forum, and I like your choice of car.

I would like to ask if I may how you think it compares to the older E series W124 convertibles. (rust, interior room, maintenance, driving pleasure etc). as i have been looking to get the older version for quite some time, but watched what seemed like a very nice CLK cab (Repossession) go on EBay for less money than the older series seems to.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Regards. Mark.
