I have been reading this forum on and off but never joined as I don't own a Mercedes. My parents have a 88 230E in white which although they maintained the car mechanically the bodywork never received the same attention. I have managed to get hold of it to clean it and I am amazed at the build quality of it. Nothing like detailing a car to get to know it.
