TMC 'would' work in the UK, Classic FM are transmitting the codes (amongst others) but the codes are not yet on the TeleAtlas UK disk and they won't be on the 2003 disc either!
To check your system try a 2002/3 German disc and you will see the TMC options available.

Lost some weight today!
I pulled all the dynamat out today,
luckily it has been cold because it was very stiff and had not stuck properly, so was easy to remove.
It was surprising how much it weighed, about 6Kg
, the tailgate now operates as normal.
I used some aquaseal tape just on the panel that the no. plate fixes to, it stops the vibrating but weighs next to nothing.
