Hi folks,
Right todays plan was to travel upto Crail raceway with my Mini for the Retro cars day, but weather was looking a bit rubbish and I couldn't really be bothered with the 3 hour round trip (Long distance in Mini = sore bum). Anyway, seen a local vintage rally advertised at Paxton house near Berwick upon Tweed, so decided to pop down for a wee browse. It was pretty disappointing to be honest. Consisted of a max of 10 tractors, horribly restored Land Rovers, Moggy 1000s, Anglias etc. A few vehicles did catch my attention however, the main one being this lovely old 124 coupe (pics at bottom of page). I was told by the owner it had new wings and a respray recently, wasn't too bad a job. Had only 66k on the clock with a good service history, and an immaculate interior. Was by far the best car at the show, I dont even want to know how much he spent on it Was also a Dimma bodied Peugeot 205 GTi which took my fancy as im bit of a French car nut aswell
