no rear seatbelt engaged

Just bought my first merc c63 08 plate on start up it says no rear seatbelt engaged but no one is in rear seats , whats up with it, any ideas appreciated

Does it not go out after a whlle?

It will do it everytime it starts up. My c class does it.

It doesnt have any sensors in the seat base like the front passenger seat does. It just relies on the seat belt being plugged in

Arr thanks mate , yes it does go out after few seconds, only had car few days an couldn't remember it doing it when I first saw it.
