Hi all!

I'm trying to find out what phone goes into the phone cradle in a 2002 C 270 CDI with Comand. The cradle has the following part number on it:
A203 820 0651
02M04
Q3

I tried a Nokia 6210 and it works very well, but I want to buy a 6310i.

Can anyone inform me if it will work, please?

Thanks

6210 and 6310i are interchangable in terms of cradles and other accessories. I've owned several of both model. Possibly my favourite phone of all time!! Of course the 6210 doesn't have Bluetooth though - 6310i does.

MY2002 was when they switched the controller from one that worked with 6210 to one which worked with 6310/i (and 6210)

So, you will have to try it and see i'm afraid

Question Update!

Thanks for the replies.

I got some other part numbers that i want to share:

Phone Controler under seat: A 203 820 25 85 (i saw this number in the cable)

Comand hidden CONFIGURATION menu shows : telephone full exp.

That means the system was updated before and, if so, i can use the Nokia 6310i or not? I´m making that question because i check http://www.mercupgrades.com/comand/COMAND-Service-Mode.htm and it looks like i have the 6310i controler.

Thanks.

Hi

From memory (and a few notes)
203 820 32 26 = Nokia 5110/6110/6150 only
203 820 99 26 = Nokia ABOVE + 6210
203 820 25 86 = ABOVE + 6310/6310i
203 820 51 85 = improved version of above (dont know what was improved)
203 820 42 26 = UHI D2B interface

So, you will be OK

The fully-expanded thing means SMS should work

Cheers
Richard
