Well after spending 3 hours cleaning the car at weekend.....I drove from Manchester to Aylesbury and back today....apart from the total crap roadworks / accidents and 7.5 hours driving for 3 hours work...... I'm gutted looking at the state of the car!!!...pictures taken at Warwick services on way home....with a tear in my eye!

Talk about labour of love

Oh well back to the cleaning products.....when it stops snowing :wallbash:

Gtechniq would help - fixed that for you...:thumb:.

A quick GWash over, and you're back to that just treated finish.

Come on Detailed...its time you had a presence up north...... we have worse weather than you southerners!!!!!

I drove around 140 miles yesterday, of which around 110 was on the M40 / A46, and my Obsidian Black E63 looks like it's had a bucket of whitewash thrown over it :(

It was that bad that I had to clean the lights and numberplates last night when I got home.

I hate road salt

This week I have driven

Doncaster to London
London to Coventry
Coventry to OXford
Oxford to Swindon
Swindon To Cwmbran via Gloucester
Cwmbran to Abergavenney -up a mountain track via a ford
Abergavenney to Doncaster.

My car is dirty.

That must be just soul destroying!

Black is by far the best colour for a car IMO and I loved my 'stealth' corsa from my modifying (teenage) days...but I just don't have the patience to keep a car gleaming at all times...that's why I'm buying a silver one next lol

Autoglym HD wax, problem solved :)
