Hi there, well I have seen 'GEE' around quite a lot, so we should see each other, my three letters are 'FBY'. Is it a current E320?

Seen quite alot? Not sure if that's a good thing or not :o ;)
Mine is a dark-coloured 124 series E-Class Coupe, as listed in my signature. :)
The Audi is bright blue :D

I'll be sure to keep an eye out for you :thumb:

Having been around other MB Forums for years ,I d like to introduce myself to all Mercedes owners in the area.

Having been mobile for many years I have decided to open a Workshop.

I have a fully equipped workshop with upto date star and know how to use it.

I use genuine parts and genuine tooling. I also offer very specialist repairs which can save owners agreat deal of money compared with buying new units.

I will always try to help with posts but sometime due to time can take a while, as sometimes you can fix things for yourself.

I also offer a diagnostic system to hire for a small fee for the older vehicle (great for the enthusiast)

I have no affiliation with Mercedes Benz, but have helped many dealers and therefore have a numbers of insiders still im MB.

I can be found on Yell or Google

Great news! another Indy in the area, good luck with your new venture :thumb:

Nice one.

I need my auto 'box fluid changing so I will give you a bell.

How long does it take?

Any space available on Wednesday morning??

Hello all. I realise this is an old thread but I wonder what the current recommendations would be? I'm in need of a gearbox oil change on my CLS

Just had mine done (2011 CLS350) and I think it's gone wrong  my trusty local mechanic may have been out of his depth. Now hoping a fresh fluid and filter change can fix it, but once gearboxes are damaged... The changes are still smooth, but there's too much friction (braking effect when you should be coasting) and it needs revving to change up on the motorway (2000rpm+) and got a fright on a steep hill when it wouldn't change down.

I would simply check the levels before doing anything else.

Make sure it is the correct temp and check them, they sound wrong more than anything else.

If the levels are fine, then I would reset the adaptations.

What's the milage on the gearbox oil/car?
