Norn Iron Noob saying Hello

Got the A/C recharged yesterday. Such a difference. Essential with all this global warming.

Booked in on Tuesday for an ATF change and filter. Oil service being done tomorrow.

Slowly but surely she's coming back to life.

One thing to check is the crankshaft harmonic balancer AKA the composite rubber/steel crankshaft pulley at the front end of the crankshaft. There was a spate of these failing on the v6 motors as the rubber parted company with steel. If this happens at speed the timing chain cover and sump castings can be damaged by flying debris. Yours may have been replaced but worth checking- lots of posts on this if you do a search. when it comes to a plug change remember you have 12 twin plug system.
Welcome to the club ---particularly like your wheels

Yes I found out about the twin-plug thing. I haven't changed the plugs yet but I will be in the next few days.

I'll check the pulley. Good heads up. Thank-you.

The wheels are quite distinctive. I haven't investigated them yet to see where they came from. There are 5 however. Bonus.
