My car W220d C class is alarming since last ~500 miles to refill the Adblue which I did but the amber light did not fade away. Took car to the garage and they told me the Nox2 sensor needs replacing. I do not have warranty but after browsing this forum since last few days I found that Mercedes recalled affected vehicles a couple years ago and got their Nox2 sensors replaced free of cost.

I checked my car recall eligibility online and can someone tell me what does that really mean? What does status "done" mean here?

Anyway, I tried my luck today, called my local dealer and ask if my car is eligible for any recall? To which he said yes but not for Nox (I didn't understand which other issue was he referring to) then he asked me to book my car and they will fix both issues by "goodwill" gesture. I was surprised and asked him like 3 times (😂) if they will really fix the Nox2 free of cost and he said yes. He booked in my car for the next week but I will call them again tomorrow to confirm again what they will be fixing.

I still cannot believe because I was expecting no less than 1000£ for repairs. Are they really gonna fix it free of cost or will they later ask me to pay? How long will this usually take? I heard ordering Nox2 sensors can take some time.

I will update here after I take my car to the dealer next week.
