Number Plate Holder

I am trying to find the "enclosed type" number plate holders for my '03 sportscoupe.

I have seen these fitted to various MB's but my local parts department can only find the standard mountings with four screws through the plate.

The mounts I am looking for are enclosed units that the plate fits in without drilling.

Any ideas on a part number or source of these please.

Really?

I simply went into my dealers and asked for the screwless plate holders, 2mins later he returned with them.


EDIT: That said, they werent OEM

I have never been impressed by my dealer here in Ipswich. They said "we only ever fit number plates to the standard plate mountings"

Did you use the dealer in Cambridge? if so I will call in next time I am over there.

I saw a 55 plate 203 with these fitted in a local carpark and the supplying dealer was Robinsons.

The number plate holders I have on the W202 were given to me by Robinsons of Bury St Edmunds, when I asked them .

Free advertising.....and all that . Mind you, that was about 4 years ago.

They were about £4 each, and have no advertising on them
