Obd scanner

Straight answer No tried several times going to my usual garage and ask him how.
If you run a normal scan, and check the DPF, and it shows high levels / % soot etc. and needs a regen, you need to finish the scan, and go out of diagnostics mode, and into DPF. This is what I did and it again checked and reported on the fill levels, and asked I wanted to do a regen. It then outlined the steps I would need to take to start the process. But thats as far as I went, as mine was not that blocked. But I thing that I read that MB have removed the ability to to a passive regen due to fire risk..could that be what has happened with your cars?? Mine seems to be regenning as normal anyway..when I check it, its always been fine ( Fingers crossed )

Yes I think that’s the case, I don’t think it will allow you to do a regen, it will tell you the levels but not how to go any further.
Having monitored mine over different times it appears the car regens more often than you think, majority of the time you will never even notice.

Every 300 miles isn't it ? You can't force a static regen , for one its a fire hazard 🔥. You can only program a drive by regen and hope it happens . I tried several times with my c250 . It kept on saying parameters not met.

On mine it did offer to do a regen, as in " proceed,? select yes " or something similar, but it definitely would have done it. Mr Greedy on here, has a detailed description of a regen warning light installation, I might do it myself, ( if I can shake off the laziness) lol 😆
