Odd bunch the yanks are!

back on topic....i would have phoned my local MB dealer before posting on a forum but hey ho.

This post made me smile when I read it on that well known American forum!

Never fails to amaze me just how deeply technical and baffling some of the posts are over there :D:D

I just had an image of a bloke called Chuck peering at the instrument cluster on his his car when saw this message muttering in a southern drawl

"Shucks! wot da hell does that mean?"

Thats sure is one "Scarry" message!

Hope we win the the footy tomorrow!

Like I keep saying there are some people in life who really are so stupid they should be banned from doing the activity, this is a prime example of someone who is too stupid to be allowed to drive, and there are plenty of examples of those that are too stupid to fly (Aeroplane wise I mean, not flapping arms)

Wow, first spy shot of the new ML!

This could be a valid warning if he is driving a DPF equipped car - the unburnt fuel can end up in the sump - raising the engine oil level at the same time as diluting the lubricating properties of the oil - there is also the danger,as the oil level rises further, that the car will start to run on the sump oil - which is a bit of a disaster - so does need to be looked at.

Steer well clear of any car with a DPF on it IMHO; under developed technology pushed onto the public before it is ready - I am sure they will be refined and work great in 10 years time.
