If this was aimed at me then - calm down people - all I was saying is that this method of selling a car is becoming more popular -i.e "writing a whacky advert" and then getting it around tons of forums to generate tons of hits from which a sale may well be achieved.

These ads are nothing more than getting your ad to stand out from the crowd.

I take real offence if I'm being labelled as part of the "awkward squad" - I think anyone just need to look at some of my posts and threads contributed to.

I have no interest in the car as much as anyone else that posted anything about this car on this forum (I guess?) so we are entitled to make any comments we feel fit.

If thats not the case - please PM me why.

I suppose these ads come down to the person reading them; I found it rather tiresome but I can see what they're trying to do in the grand scheme of it all...
