oil drain and oil.filter

Ok, please be kind to a newbie....

I have managed to get my com off the ground, got the plastic lower engine covers off and am ready to drain the engine oil and change the oil filter but I really cannot see either the filter or the drain plug please help. By the way, the last engine.I worked on was a 1971 pinto..... This is a tad different and any help would be appreciated
 
Its a 13MM headed bung on the engine sump.

The oil filter is at the top. Big plastic round shape
 
Buy a Pela and suck it out of the dipstick hole, no more laying on the floor
 
I tend to agree with Eddie. The Pela 6000 is a robust bit of kit which is very useful for extracting engine oil (and all sorts of other fluids).
A major benefit is that it makes the oil change such a clean process.
