Oil leak at back of engine Passenger side

I have a oil leak at the back of my engine Coming from a rubber hose that vents And runs down past the bell housing What is this hose sea picture

I think the bigger problem is that the engine isn’t in the car buddy .
(hopefully someone else will know soon )

MB specialist time I would suggest buddy , unless you have a recent car purchase warranty .

Yes cars under warranty but dealer unable to get car in this side of Christmas . Taken a good look today and it's a weep pipe front the diesel injector valley, so it was diesel not oil leak... Hope this helps somebody

If fuel is dripping from it you must have a fuel rail leak of some sort , or it could be the start of 'black death' from a leaking injector.

its been into the Dealer and a perished/damaged "o" ring on injector 3 was to blame. all 4 "o" rings have now been changed ... thanks
