oil pressure problem too high in my v6 om642 engine

odd thread this. 1) PCV valve, 2) is the actuator the SAME as the one you had previously, they must be matched amd/or programmed to your car.

Not sure where this is going, but logic doesn't point to the oil level / temp switch and probably not the oil cooler either! The oil circulation system doesn't involve anything electrical.

Can you not just run it and see what happens?

exshuast system full of oil now got to take it off and clean it out as smokes way too much now

Interesting, I have one engine like this. Already replaced the turbo and injectors. Seems to run good until revved and then blows oil out the front and back of the turbo. I think it's out of time... 196k miles 2008
