The pumps are a great bit of kit for the money. Had one for few years now and use it on all 5 of our cars several times per year. It has never let me down or got me covered in engine or gear box fluids.

Same as Bruce, i to use one for oil changes in the winter .But i do pull the sump plug in the warmer months due to cleaning and inspecting the magnetic sump plug. Nothing better than draining from the sump .But if a 12 volt extractor is used more frequently it will do as good a job in time

Top tip: warm the engine before using a vacuum extractor, although it will still suck it all out if you don't.
