The seatbelt warning light doesn't come on when the front passenger seat is occupied and the belt undone. The driver's side is fine. I've spent a good hour fighting my way through the EPC and WIS (via the M-B Club) and come to the conclusion I'd find it easier to decode the Voynich Manuscript.

Can anyone well versed in navigating the EPC/WIS point me at the wiring diagram(s) for the front passenger seat occupancy/seatbelt systems?

The car is a W203207 C200CDI T-Modell.

Don't shout at me for saying this BUT why bother ?

If the warning light came on when the seat belt was worn then that would be annoying.

I could live with your fault.

I'd never shout at anyone ;)

It's the perfectionist in me, and a keen MOT tester may spot it as well.

Has the seat pad sesor ever failed and been replaced with one of them little black box's instead of a new pad ?
I have fitted these to cars before and in doing so the seat belt reciever sensor has to be shorted ,this gives the car a reading that the seat belf is fastened . This would cause the car to not beep when the seat is occoupied and the seat belt not worn

The seats are unmodified. The problem isn't a false positive, it's that there's no warning when there should be one. I just want to find the relevant wiring diagram to do some investigation.

Fantastic!!!

One day I'll figure out how to use it all, and remember that the 'Seat Occupancy Sensor' is called a 'Weight Sensing System'

Thanks again sir :thumb:
