Om642 4.7k ohm resistor question

Hi I've been looking at the 4.7k ohm resistors on eBay and thinking of getting just as a bit of back if my swirl flap motor goes faulty, but I'm not sure the wattage of resistor to get. Please can someone tell me the wattage of resistor required or does it not matter.

It doesn’t pass a lot of current through it, it’s just a monitoring feedback. 0.25w is fine

Your local burglar alarm or fire alarm guy should have lots of them….I know that they are not expensive but no harm in asking.
