One owner 500E !!!

I dont think the car listed is a collection piece to be honest, on my hunt, i saw many amazing original SEC's for less than 8K... they looked a lot better than the one Jonathan Aucot is selling.

Maybe the wheels are for the 560 as you mentioned they have wider wings? The front wheels just stick out too far and look a bit Barry really..

I took another look and I see what you mean about the wheels, I think the camera angle is not doing it any favours at all, look at the rear 3/4 picture and looks different again.

When you look at my car from the front the tyres look quite proud of the arches but they are comfortably inside when looked at from above.

They were certainly an option new though (albeit an AMG option which back then was not factory as the way it is now).

yes the one on ebay? Its very very clean, but i wouldnt say a collection piece.. at the moment there are just too many of them around..

Just to be clear....you have been to see this car?

At least 2 owners in total, not one (1 previous owner) in the UK:

Not quite clear how many owners in the ten years before it came to the UK .

But yes, looks very nice and well cared for. :)

1 Owner in Germany from new (Female), before I purchased the car in April 02, kept it till June 05 then left the Car with the Hairpin Company, who sold it to The Man in the Armed Forces, so 3 owners from new, I would think. Great Car, set me on the road to buying another 4 W124.036. Unfortunately, I have to sell the 2 that I own at the moment, house prices are not dropping as predicted, so I need all the money I can lay my hands on for the deposit:(
Drat Drat and double Drat,

Regards,

Terry.

BTW, When I sold it, it was in fantastic condition, nigh on Immaulate!

Are the two you're selling now E500/500E too? Or an E60?

Sorry after reading above post I wasn't clear if you had actually seen the car in the flesh.....I am clear now, thanks.

oh i see, no, i saw a lot of cars but not that one... its funny as often when i come across SEC's for sale, i feel deja vu...

1992 500E and 1994 E500 Limited are for sale, E60 was sold last year,

Regards,

Terry.

hi where are these cars for sale, how much and what condition ?
thanks

Yeah, the 500E isnt really attractive anymore with its big price tag and LHD...everyone rather go for the cheaper and RHD C43 and E55's being offered. Only the true enthusiasts will hold out for the 500e.

Only the 500E has Porsche DNA.

The 500E was a historic collaboration between two German companies, each with a great sporting heritage. To Porsche aficionados, the quality of DNA that you get with AMG is perhaps not quite the same.

The 500 is not made with right-hand drive?

Maybe I shuld buy one and take it home. They cost 20k£ here.

This 500E is up for sale through the owners club. £12,500 if anyone is interested.

Wow. Something about this one looks just right. Hmmm, new roof on the house, or 500E ?
Now where did I put that mastic gun............

If that car is as clean as it looks (photos sometime flatter) then I think that's good value for money.

which wheels?

which are the original wheels. First photo shows the typical 8 hole merc wheels. the other 2 pictures show a different set.

The Evo wheels are available by negotiation I believe.
