Hi,

2003 CL600TT

Occasionally, becoming more frequently, the driver's side of the aircon blows warm air. The passenger side operates as normal and the aircon seems to otherwise function fine.

On the driver's side, the middle vent and the right hand one blow warm, becoming hot. Often the middle one then reverts to cold as normal, but the right hand one gets and stays quite hot.

Presumably there is a sensor for each side of the dual-side aircon? The fan and sensor in the central unit on the dash were replaced about 5 years ago.

No faults on the code reader but it's just a basic OBD2.

Any suggestions on the possible cause, please .... and is it a DIY solution?

Many thanks.

Or the secondary water pump if it has one. My old sl320 v6 had a similar problem, there's a thermostat under it for the other bank of cylinders, worth a look, hope this helps, Tony

Had this happen on a landrover, turned out to be low on AC gas.
