Ok see the pic below of both cars. Thinking about transfering the Irish plate or should I just keep the one I have??

Car looks great Shaun - as for number plate - it's purely a personal preference this one. Personally I'm not keen on the Irish plates - so I'd leave the original on it.

Me too, even though I just splashed out on one but not Eire btw.

So, its original for me as well.

Yep think I will be going with the initial trend on this one. Looks ok as it is and whilst I like the Irish plate on that car I think it will some how look cheap.

Sell the Irish Plate, and get an AMG plate :D

S.

I think W reg is the latest I have seen on a 202 - so let people know you have one of the last.

original for me or get a proper private plate rather than the irish one.

I agree.

Hide the age of it , looks pretty new.

I think those Irish plates are really naff.
You may as well have a plate saying "I AM HIDING THE TRUE AGE OF THE CAR"

Even worse are the Irish plates that start with "GAZ" or "BAZ.

Heck!!!!, I nearly got a 'DAZ' as well  , being as i wuz tagged David as a nipper.

I sometimes think that I am simply not of good enough vehicular upbringing for the distinguished members of this forum, a bit too Chav in fact, and I am just kidding myself ;) .

I thoroughly agree...... the only ones worse than BAZ etc. are MBZ or BNZ on a Mercedes , presumeably they are meant to infer 'Mercedes BenZ' or just ' BeNZ '

stick with the original Shaun, sorry to be critical...... lovely car though :)

No that fine Howard. Though maybe a liitle harsh on the poor plate. ;) The car has been good to me and I dont want it to feel unloved :p I like the BNZ plate on my original C Class but I think thats probably just because it was on when I got the car.

But I think I had made my mind to keep it the way it is by about the 3rd post. The only plate I would go for at the minute is C43 AMG and at £10995 I will be giving it a miss for now.

Why have an AMG one ? it's obvious what it is, why not get your initials or something Shaun ?

To be honest as I have decided against swapping it over I will leave it as is. After all could proably do with the money to be put towards petrol. Dont think the mrs will be too impressed either.

*EDIT* Oh could get my name S11 AUN but again £10995.

Must spend money on the house and not on car!
