Opinions?

They don't look to bad, better than the set i have, whats the postage going to be tho?

I wouldn't trust them on a W124 front spring - they look far too flimsy

If it's a choice between those and the "proper" tool I know which I'd choose.

Buying a decent compressor may cost more in the short term but it will save you money (and maybe even save you a trip or two to casualty) in the long run.

Don't cut corners on "essential" tools

If you're thinking of doing it for a living then you need a decent set. I've sent you a PM.;)

Would hate to see a spring in yer forehead mate...go for a propa job

odd seem to have gone all west country ohh arrgghh

Agreed with the rest. Go for the proper MB tools. I've had several W124's and in the early days, I would take the car to several cowboys and they would not have the proper tools. They would literally spend half a day on changing coil springs.

Now I go to a good indie who has All the necessary tools. The last time, he changed both springs in 30-40 mins.

I guess that you need the correct codec installed in media player - it will probably be divx or mpeg4

Andy

Hi Andy,
Thanks for that. So for us thickies I will hopefully nip into Google and search for Codec 'divx' or 'mpeg4'? I just wish I knew what I was on about :)

Thanks again,
John

Just install DivX - you only need the codec,

here's a link to a page which tells you just how to do that :)

http://www.divx.com/divx/codec.php

Andy

Hi Andy,
Thanks very much indeed for the link. I downloaded the DivX, installed it, watched the demo video, but Janner's link still only plays the music?

Sounds like a job for my son when he gets home tonight. I'm wondering if it is my security settings, although it seems strange that it plays the music?

John
