option and codes on W124

Hi, does anybody know how to find the codes and options on my car from the vin number - is there a site where i can look it up?

Vin is - WDB1240522B......

Dealer was surprised the other day when i said it had got ASR (think i noticed it on the dash in the past)

Rare but yes.ASR was an option.

cheers guys, it might be me who's wrong if its a rare option. Unfortunately its not my main driver and I've forgot spec.
I've got service history and docs but they are in storage - need to get them back so i can 100% confirm.
Will have a look on the web now anyway.

How many switches have you got on your dashboard,the top part?There is one for the rear reading light,is there another one next to it?

thanks, will go have a look at the car a little later, should be working at the mo (It's on the lift in the garage so not a 2 min job).

but looked on web and according to site (other details look correct) - it says it has - 471 acceleration skid control (ASR) (с 01.07.1984)

will check the dash though.

top row of switches is populated with 5 switches, centre is hazard with two to each side. right ones as you say are rear reading lights and one with a wheel symbol.
