Original MB Filter

Hi - I'm trying to do some detective work on my car's service history. I have just changed the air filter and the one I took out had Bosch stamped on it. I replaced it with one from euro car parts which was also made by Bosch.

Can anyone advise if the original MB air filters are made by Bosche and do they have Bosche stamped on them or are they marked with MB? This will help me to determine if previous owner stuck to servicing schedule

The car is a W203 C180k 2005.

I would have thought it would have the MB logo and the part number. Bosch should be fine.

Bosch do make parts for MB.

Most are made by Bosch for MB and will say bosch on it but genuine MB parts will usually have the star logo..

Absolutely no difference between the Euro one and MB one... although MB will try hard to convince you its different

stick with a reputable brand like Mahle or Mann then you know it's good.
Bosch is good too.
