Owners Manual Reference Number

Could anyone with a W211 Year 04/05 E class supply me with the reference number(s) for the Owners Manual from the back of the book.
I wish to purchase a copy via a UK dealer who would prefer this information rather than from the VIN.

Thanks for your reply. The dealer in Derby (closest to my friend) has requested a number that either begins in A or one that starts 211 **** and has quoted a price of about 36 GBP.

They have the VIN number but seem confused ( car was originally delivered to France)

Seems a big difference from what you have said pricewise.

I have original in French -- Reference 211 584 30 71 FR Edition H3 12/04 but is only 32 pages and is worse than useless as it has only basic operation details of air-con, seats and instrument dispay. I am trying to obtain what I would expect is a "proper owners operation manual" which I can only assume is available and which gives details of operations similar to the online site. Regards

My E class was registered Jan 2005. The number on the back of my owners manual is 211 584 63 83 EN Edition G3b, 03/04

Check the Order no starting 6515 and ending in 02 (english)
That is the MB part no that you order. Dont ask why this and not the A-number because I dont know.

Edition 03/04 isnt available, you have to backtrack to edition 06/02

Hence part no Z 6515 1089 02.
