P052E71 - Crankcase ventilation valve actuator blocked

Thought the car was running a little rough so ran some codes - seems to be showing up the above. Its on 48k miles C200 m274

No EML yet so not sure if this is something to worry about?

Anyone know of approximate costs / if its covered under extended warranty?

Its a bit of a bugger to do. Its super fiddly.

Most warranties will cover it. Just get a garage to quote to replace it. They will probably have to send pics of the fault code and the diagnosis process.

It's under Merc extended warranty so hopefully will be covered. Not sure what they'd categorise it at in their warranty nomenclature so difficult to tell.

It's going in for a ball joint issue next week so will bring it up then

So looks like its covered under Merc Extended warranty - along with that they're going to change both suspension arms due to the squeaking. Also needs a new battery as showing low voltage.

All in all £340 to be paid by myself for the battery inc fitting. Warranty was £453 and total cost of the works without the battery was around £2500
