Wiring diagram for the paddle modification

Dear Pac55,
please find enclosed the wiring diagram of the modification I made two years ago. You will find the opener on the right side of the wheel in order to shift upwards and the closing switch on the left side of the wheel to shift downwards. I had to exchange the right switch into an opener.
The translations in the wiring diagram are as follows:
Spannungszustände=voltage on the wheel system during shifting
Vorwiderstand=resistor
Gangschalter=paddle switch
hoch=shifting upwards
runter=shifting downwards
wheel connections in the car:
red wire => contact no. 4 in connector of the switch gear module N15/5
black wire => chassis ground to cars body
I hope this will help you to realize the modification.
Best regards
Jens

Plug and play paddles for older AMGs finally available

I realize this is a fairly old thread, but I thought I would post some info on the module that allows direct plug in of the new AMG paddles into the older (pre2006) AMG cars.

They are available through DCT motorsports [email protected]

or you can contact me if you have any questions,
Chris

Hi Tiggers,

These kits are in stock. Why don't you send me a Pm with your application (year/model) and location (and your email address), and we can see about getting you set up.

Chris
