Been to London and back today form Lancahsire and just as I pull on to my drive the parking sensor system gives a continuopus long bleep and disables it self.

Can't re-enable it as it does the same thing over and over.

The car is caked in road grime (salt from this morning's early hours drive), could this be the issue?

It was working at Nottingham services and the drive back from there was dry, but maybe that's the issue as the dirt is now caked on.

I will clean the car on Saturday so will see if it resolves itself.

Just hope it's not a rear sensor as can't face removing the bumper again... I almost put news ones in when it was off.... hindsight eh? :D

Quite probably the grime if its really caked on. You could just run a damp sponge over the 10 sensors tomorrow rather than wait for Saturday :-)

Cheers for the reply :D

As much as I want to spnge them off I have spent fortune on paint.... it will get a proper snow foam and 2 bucket wash double wash at the weekend :D

Check for stone chip, that was the issue with mine recently. Talk about lucky though.... they replaced it under warranty!
